C. L. Ross Inc., a trusted FedEx Transportation Service Provider, is seeking qualified CDL A drivers in the Pasco, Washington area.
We have an immediate need for a dependable, flexible driver who can run day or night shifts based on operational needs. We currently have a 4 - 5 day a week position open. This is a night driving position from Pasco, WA - Troutdale, OR.
Position Details:
• Home every day
• Short-haul and spot runs only
• Flexible schedule — day or night shifts as needed
Compensation:
Drivers are compensated on an hourly or mileage basis, with rates ranging from $29.00 to $35.00. This pay structure allows flexibility based on the specific route and shift worked.

Special Rates for Current FedEx Linehaul Drivers:
If you are current FedEx Linehaul driver from out of the immediate area and are already active within the FedEx system, you may be eligible for additional work opportunities. Drivers in this category who are interested in picking up extra shifts or routes will receive special compensation rates. Please inquire for more details regarding these rates if you are seeking supplemental work as a current FedEx Linehaul driver.
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a heavy-duty truck (26,000 lbs GVW or greater)
• Properly track and operate electronic logs using Omnitracs IVG or Motive
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Transport and deliver trailers to designated destinations on schedule
• Maintain proper engine fluid levels and report any changes in vehicle performance
Qualifications:
• Experience:
– 1 year in the last 3 years or 5 years in the last 10
– 6 months with a qualified driving school (military driving experience accepted)
– All experience must be verifiable
• Valid Class A CDL with Doubles endorsement (training provided if no doubles experience)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
• Ability to pass employment and criminal background screening
• Clean MVR and FMCSA Clearinghouse
Depending on completion of the background check and drug screen, full or part-time may be offered.
