Munder Trucking LLC is a local Home Depot contractor. We are looking for a trustworthy, dependable Class A CDL truck driver with at least one year of experience. Candidates must be professional, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude and strong emphasis on customer service.
Qualifications:
1. Ability to pass a stringent background test.
2. Ability to pass a drug test at time of hire and random throughout employment.
3. Attention to detail and ability to fill out and turn in detailed paperwork.
Responsibilities:
1. Transport merchandise from Home Depot to customer homes or customer job sites.
2. Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues.
3. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in a timely manner.
4. Document and log work/rest periods and ability to keep track of time spent driving and retain fuel/miscellaneous receipts.
5. Effectively communicate (cell, text, email) with Home Depot management/team members, and fleet manager at all times.
6. Comply with DOT driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
7. Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
8. Collect and verify delivery instructions.
9. Report defects, accidents and violations.
Moffett/forklift experience preferred. This is a salaried position with a guaranteed weekly pay. Pay rate will depend on experience. This position is Mon-Sat.
