This unit is read to go. Lower the pickup into a bucket, open the bleeder valve, turn the pump speed knob up a bit to start pumping, pump until the unit clears of the winter prep (paint thinner, oil and alcohol mix) and pumps finish and you're off and running.
These rent for about $100.00 a day.
NOTE: The Titan 440 Series (i.e., the 440i, 440i x) is the direct equivalent to this SprayTech EPX2305. As such, the replacement version would run $1,700.00, plus tax. Too, the 440's and 2305 share parts compatibility.
Includes:
(1) The SprayTech sprayer;
(2) 100' of high pressure fluid hose, .
(3) Titan 769-100 Reel-EZ Hose Reel 16" (Pittsburg) [mounted on the sprayer for easy hose management]. Replacement cost would be $673.60
(4) Two spray extension wands, a 10” and a 30” inch.
(5) Five tips: 3-15, 5-17,. . . .
(6) Tip wrench (okay, it’s a Cresent wannabe)
(7) Three other guns, in addition to the one on the hose: Graco, Campbell Hausfield (Harbor Freight), a disposable.
(8) A tool box to hold the extra guns, tips and tools.
(9) Spray shields (standard large shield and small 90-degree shield).
SIDE NOTES:
Just finished my house exterior in October. I’m 74, so it’s time to plan on someone else taking over the operation of this equipment.
The unit works fine (good packing). I have the lines flushed and filled with a mix of paint thinner, a bit of motor oil and denatured alcohol. So it will take a hard freeze.
The screen in the tool box is 100 mesh, so doesn't play well with heavier finishes, like paints for houses and commercial buildings. Using it with latex will cause the pump to run fine for a moment, pump itself empty, then act like an empty airless, until paint seeps back through. So only use it for light oils, lacquer and such and switch back to the more coarse mesh for latex and acrylic paints for the home and such.
The screen currently on the sprayer is for latex and such.
I may consider a trade for or toward the deal. WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:
