We are looking for a reliable and motivated Assistant Manager / Team Lead to support daily operations at our busy convenience store. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining safety standards, and helping the manager run the store efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and support cashiers and store associates during shifts
-Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer issues quickly
-Assist with opening and closing procedures
-Monitor fuel pumps and store operations for safety and efficiency
-Handle cash management, including registers, deposits, and reconciliations
-Stock shelves, manage inventory, and place orders as needed
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and forecourt
-Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards
-Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching
-Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is unavailable
