I'm looking to get into the hospitality scene and gain some experience as a server/host/busser. I have retail customer service and safe food handling experience. I have my food handlers card and can easily obtain a MAST if necessary.
I worked briefly at a Waffle House for about 2 months so I have an understanding of the rush and stress of a busy restaurant. Sundays after church in the south were absolute insanity. I handled that job fine and only left because pay in that state serving was 3$/hour plus tips and the assistant manager was an actual crackhead who regularly screamed in coworkers faces in the middle of service. Otherwise, I actually enjoyed the chaos of that job.
If anyone in the Tri-cities is looking for someone to fill 15-30 hours/week, I am willing and able to learn please send me an email!
