π Registered Jersey Family Cow β Bred β Gentle β Ready for a Homestead
Meet "Trixie," a registered (AJCA - Gen 0) Jersey heifer looking for her next family.
Trixie is exceptionally gentle and enjoys being around people. She has been handled nearly every day, leads well, ties, stands quietly, and is desensitized to touch. My kids love to pet her and she loves it back!
She is confirmed bred to a calving-ease Angus bull, giving you the opportunity to raise a valuable beef calf while enjoying fresh family milk. (The calf will not be AJCA registrable.)

She has not been TB tested or brucellosis titered for a licensed raw milk dairy program, but those tests can be completed at the buyer's expense (approximately $200) if desired.
β’ Ties and leads well
β’ Easy to handle
β’ Comfortable with people
β’ Allows handling over her entire body
β’ Fed premium 2nd-cutting alfalfa/orchard hay
β’ Free-choice minerals, salt, and fresh water
β’ Healthy, shiny coat
Trixie is a smaller-framed Jersey and likely won't be an extremely heavy producer, making her a good fit for many family homesteads. Her front teats should be comfortable for hand milking. Her rear teats are shorter, so homesteaders may choose to milk the front quarters while calf-sharing, or use a milking machine for all four.
Because she's A1A2, I've priced her lower. However, the quality Angus beef calf she's carrying adds significant value. She would make an excellent family milk cow, calf-share cow, or nurse cow.
Delivery may be available for a fee, and I'm happy to help coordinate livestock transportation if needed.
