Beautiful mahogany executive desk. Manufactured between 1915 and 1940s, by the Clemetsen company of Chicago under the name Clemco. It may have come from the Old Florida Capital building.
The desk measures 66” x 38” x 30”. It has 8 full depth drawers, with slide outs above each bank of drawers. The center and right side drawers are lockable. The left side drawers need to have the locking mechanism reconnected, to be lockable. There is no key for the center drawer lock. However, a key could be easily made. Some of the drawers have movable partitions. There is one double height drawer for hanging files.
The desk is in original condition. It has not been refinished. Beautiful example of early 20th century craftsmanship.
Not perfect, but in excellent condition, for its age.
