We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our childcare program.
Position Details
* Part-time position (5β6 hours per day)
* Potential for full-time hours in the future
* Pay: $18.00 per hour
* Location: Pasco, WA
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced childcare environment and actively engage with children throughout the day.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants MUST provide:
β Resume
β Three (3) verifiable professional references
β At least one (1) year of experience working with children
β GED or High School Diploma
β Washington State Food Worker Card
β CPR & First Aid Certification
β Bloodborne Pathogens Training
β All required DCYF childcare trainings and certifications
β Must pass a Background Check
(Assistance can be provided with the background check process if needed.)
β Must speak Spanish fluently
(English is a plus.)
Job Responsibilities
* Provide constant supervision of children at all times
* Assist with daily routines, meals, diapering, activities, and transitions
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
* Follow all licensing regulations and childcare policies
* Support childrenβs social, emotional, and developmental growth
* Work collaboratively with families and staff
* Participate in classroom cleaning and organization tasks

Probationary Period
All new hires are subject to a two-week probationary period. Continued employment will be based on attendance, punctuality, performance, professionalism, ability to follow policies and procedures, and overall fit within the program.
