What I have for sale is a 1987 Land Rover 90, Right Hand Drive. The first listing, I may have been a bit "over-zealous" in my pricing. So, now we've come down to reality.
In place of the original engine is a 1993 200 Tdi from a Defender (The 11L) (so, the High Mount turbo). The Turbo, Timing Belt, and Water Pump were just changed in May 2022. Valves checked/adjusted 17 May 2022.
Tires, maybe 500 miles on them.
5 speed manual. Clutch new when engine put in 3 years ago. No idea on the miles it was done.
She’s not perfect, but she’s rare. Drips a little oil, from … well, it’s British. Not all the panels are perfect. Not at all. Definitely not a museum queen.
Roof leaks a little around the edges (it is a Land Rover).
No AirCon. No radio. No need.
Mileage may or may not be correct, I have no idea. Clean/clear title in Washington state.
Has 2 jump seats mounted in the back, 2 more in my basement.
Includes rear disc brake conversion kit (some assembly required).
Drives nice, steers good, stops…
Has lots of get up and go with the new turbo, etc…
I don’t have to sell, but if you want it, the price is the price.
Comes with a box of parts and bits, rear brake conversion, some books, papers, etc… nothing too fancy, but if you don't smile each time you drive it...
