The Motobacon is a Grand Record 🐝. The number 2 in the lineup. Seatpost 26.4, French threading, Campagnolo dropouts. 100/122 spacing, No dents, no dings, no bulge. The paint is good for what it is but when one looks close is crackle, that is not abnormal for the Motobeacon of the time.

I have this just about all the parts to complete. The frame is Reynolds 531 main triangle, I think the fork and rear triangle is Hi-ten or Mag/steel. Stronglight headset and bottom bracket, the hubs are high flange Normandy French threaded freewheel on rather tired Araya 700 rims 4x spoking, Continental xcross tires are in good shape (I forget the size). Stronglight cranks, mafac brakes and levers (note levers are an update). The brakes are set and cabled up. The stem is AVA or Pivo, the bars are probably Pivo as well, I can’t recall at this moment. The bars are wrapped with black cotton Newbaums tape. Sedis chain

Headset and bottom bracket, are good. The wheels have been with marine grease.

I’ll try to put Stronglight English threaded cranks if I have them, I know I have the old French threaded. If I have the English I’ll have pedals. I probably won’t if my cranks are French.

Shifters and derailers are not available at this time. I may be able to locate some but the sell is without the mini group. (I had a bad hanger bolt for a Cyclone set and was missing shifters for the campy, the originals.)

I am gathering parts from family members that’s why I’m not sure on a couple of things.
