This is a five drawer chest of drawers. Two side-by-side ones on top, and three below.
It stands about 4' tall and around 3' tall (didn't think to measure, will and will get back to edit the post next time I'm in the shop).
This is a well built chest of drawers:
(1) The drawers are solid wood, and made with dovetail joints.
(2) If the top is veneered, the veneer is in very good condition.
(3) As is visible in the photos, the chest has ornate trim and feet.
The chest of drawers is in very good condition, but the original finish is waning to the point it should be refinished. Especially on the top (no surprise) and, especially, one side.
I have no clue of the age of this piece of furniture. At the least, it is vintage.
If finishing this myself, I would do a chemical strip. In part because cleaning the detail work of the trim would, otherwise, be a life long task. Also, because I would not risk sanding through veneer, if any.
Also, much of the finish could be removed using a good scraper (edges smoothed to reduce the chance of gouging).
$300.00 or best offer.
Be advised, I do not live by my phone. I'm known to forget it in the shop for up to a day, or two, and may not think to check for texts. I do check my email regularly. Accordingly, if you text and someone else emails, they may beat you to this. You can always do both.
